Award Winning Filmmaker

Niamh's career began when she first set foot onto the set of Ridley Scott's 'The Last Duel', shortly after graduating from DIT Film School. After three years of assisting, shadowing, and learning from notable directors, she made the leap to directing and writing herself.

With a keen interest in female and queer stories, Niamh enjoys blending humour, style, and nostalgia while exploring the vast spectrum of human relationships. She's drawn to telling stories through a rose-tinted, feminine, romantic lens that tends to juxtapose the rawer nature of her narratives, experimenting with vulnerability on screen. Her visual style is steeped in color, with a passion for shooting on film.

Whilst working as an assistant on set, Niamh began to direct music videos any chance that she could. She works closely with ‘Sprints’, and has created work for KhakiKid, Toucan, Qbanaa and Melina Malone, Her Spec Commercial ‘Pellador; Not Just For Footballers’ catapulted her into the commercial world after it won Best Spec Commercial at the 2024 Emerging Director Awards.
